Offensive lineman Zach Frazier, who was a second-round draft choice of the Pittsburgh Steelers, was the only former Mountaineer drafted this year, but three other members of West Virginia’s 2023 football squad have signed contracts as undrafted rookie free agents with various NFL teams.
Offensive lineman Doug Nester has signed with the Minnesota Vikings.
Defensive back Beanie Bishop has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers
Wide receiver Devin Carter has signed with the Carolina Panthers.
The four are the latest Mountaineers to ink a contract with an NFL club. They join 11 other former West Virginia players who are veterans of the National Football League and are currently under contract with NFL teams.
